Benazira Djoco | The Ambassador of the Foundation Africa do Coração will represent the Queen Sabá at the carnival 2019 in Brazil

The actress, model and journalist Benazira Djoco was Born in Guinea-Bissau, and lives in Brazil since 2003.

Bena is ambassador of the Foundation África do Coração, which aims to help African refugees in Brazil. Founded in 2013 and formalised in 2016, Africa do Coração is a non-profit organisation that provides social work and also works to promote the social integration of refugees and immigrants. The Foundation currently takes care of over 1000 refugees from more than 30 different nationalities.

The Perola Negra school in São Paulo, Brazil, has nominated an African woman to represent the Queen Sabá in the Anhembi on 3 , March 2019.

Djoco will be representing the Queen Sabá on 3 , March 2019 at the carnival.

In an interview for ISTOÉ magazine the actress and model said:

“I’m doing a diet to gain weight. I need to be fit. “
